This piece originated as sketch during a particularly out-there Drawpile session with friends, and evolved into a character I really wanted to draw properly. Not for any story, or any particular practice. Just purely self-indulgent and fun. It’s not the most technically adept of my paintings, but it remains one of my favorites.

This was a challenge to take another artist’s work and illustrate it in my own style. I based this work on a prompt by @the_blue_leviathan (Shannon Hallstein) on Instagram.
